I'm intrigued by the approach but confused because it sounds similar to Cypress in that it bundles application and test code together in the browser therefore unlocking certain levels of control like mocking of APIs and clocks.

The article consistently refers to "Cypress/Playwright" as though they're the same but they work fundamentally differently and Cypress's approach is similar enough to this that it should provides all the same benefits unless I'm misunderstanding something.
